Honda and Acura engines are very lightweight and powerful. Making an excellent choice for your sandcars or off road cars power plant.

Throw in affordability and fuel economy of these fuel injected engines and you cant go wrong. Honda reliability speaks for itself on the road as well as off the road. It has been proven that often you can go Honda power for cheaper than building an equal power VW engine.

Offering engines from 175HP and up. Naturally aspirated or turbocharged.

Throw in the comfort of a standard 6 month warranty on most of our engine packages and how can you go wrong!

We understand there are many choices when it comes to sandcar engine suppliers. Honda engines are not for every sand/off road car on the market, but It has its place in the industry just like the Subaru and V8 engines do as well. There are a lot of factors to consider when choosing an engine for your car, Weight being a major factor. You shouldn't expect to put a 3.5 in a 3000lb. pre runner and expect it to pull wheelie's. We have come up with a general power to weight to engine size chart to for the average car to deliver good all around performance and drivability.

3.0l suffiently powers a 1000-1500lb car

3.2l suffiently powers a 1500-2000lb car

3.5l suffiently powers a 2000-2500lb car

Now turbo any of these packages and your really on your way. Also just because you are adding a turbo doesnt mean that this engine is the best choice to pull a 3000lb car around. the torque of a V8 would definitely be the direction to look.

We feel the light weight Honda engine produces great power and reliability and a great handling car as well. Lighter cars with these engines feel very nimble in the sand and elsewhere.

I have compiled a list of the major sandrail manufacturers (to the left of your screen) that we have and or are currently supplying engines for. Perhaps you may recognize a few of them.
